Ecommerce galleries resist saving
Modern storefronts use dynamic image viewers to provide magnification and variant switching. These are great for shoppers, but they actively prevent you from easily saving the images.
Zoom overlays
When you right-click to save a product, you often end up downloading a blank transparent `.png` used to capture mouse movement for the magnifier.
Hidden variants
Alternate colors or detail shots are often loaded lazily. Getting them all requires clicking through every single swatch manually.
The Product Image Workflow
Bulk Image Downloader works with image URLs that the product page makes available in its markup and network responses.
Load the product page
Navigate to the item. If the store loads variants dynamically when clicked, briefly click through the color swatches to ensure the high-res images are fetched by the browser.
Scan behind the overlay
Open Bulk Image Downloader. It scans image URLs exposed by the page's network responses and DOM structure.
Filter by size and ZIP
Product photos are large. Use the size slider to immediately hide thumbnail images, cart icons, and badges. Then, export the high-res photos to an organized ZIP folder.
Using a Dedicated Tool
- •Uses image URLs exposed by the product page
- •Finds the high-resolution source file
- •Grabs all loaded variant images instantly
- •Groups outputs into clean folders
Inspect Element (Dev Tools)
- •Requires digging through nested HTML tags
- •Finding the <img> source often returns tiny thumbnails
- •Requires copy-pasting URLs into new tabs
- •Slow, technical, and frustrating for multiple products
Organize your product research
Install the Bulk Image Downloader extension and start building your product asset libraries cleanly.
